Sarah Schieber has the ability to reach into the circumstances of her life and translate her experiences into deep encouragement for all believers.  Acclaimed singer, songwriter, author, and speaker, Sarah Schieber shares her heart in a transparent and endearing way.

Sarah captivates audiences with her authenticity and her powerful anointing.

As a little girl people said there was something different about Sarah.  By the time she was a teenager, that something different began to be labeled as ‘anointing.’  Performing at fundraisers, mission’s banquets, church services and the like, Sarah began to draw favor and a name as one who truly ministered to those she sang for.  By the age of sixteen, Sarah began performing concerts.

Sarah mastered her craft at Anderson University where she studied Music Business and began classical voice training.  In just three years at Anderson, Sarah performed as a guest soloist with The Anderson Symphony Orchestra and won the prestigious AU Concerto/Aria competition.

After college Sarah went back to her roots and toured extensively with a southern gospel trio called Sojourn.  Sojourn had recorded two CD’s when they decided to disband in 2004.

Having gotten married, had three children, toured extensively, and developed a budding marriage ministry with her husband, Chad, Sarah heard distinctly from the Lord that it was time to enter a season of rest.  God told her she needed to find her first love again . . . Him!

In 2006, after a year of rest and sweet fellowship with God, Sarah and Chad knew it was time to step back into ministry.  Sarah recorded her first solo album, Gratitude, with award winning producer Steve Millikan and released the album in August of 2007.

Sarah looks back now and knows . . . that year of going deep with the Lord was His way of preparing her for the darkest days of her life which were about to crash upon her.

Just two months after releasing Gratitude, and poised to walk into a national marriage ministry, Sarah’s whole life crashed around her when on October 7th, 2007 Chad collapsed and died while running the Chicago Marathon.  He was only thirty-five.  In one heartbeat, Sarah became a thirty-three-year-old widow and a single mama.  In one heartbeat, the hopes and dreams of a young woman’s heart died along with her beloved that day.

God’s dreams for Sarah did not die that day though.  God sustained Sarah through each step of her painful grief journey and along the way He opened one door after another for Sarah to minister to the hearts of hurting people.

Since Chad’s death, Sarah has written and released two full-length CD’s with award winning songwriter and producer Paul Marino.  She also released the song ‘Christmas in Heaven’ in November of 2008 and within two-weeks time it flew to #15 on the National Christian Radio Charts and #30 on Billboard.

Sarah has been the featured artist on  . . . Moody, TV Station, .  She has sung all across America and Canada.  Sarah has spoken to grieving women in San Diego, California, women grieving at Valentine’s Day in Southern Indiana, and has ministered to those grieving at Christmas in Kentucky.
